    Good job on documentary, it’s nice to know how people think about different religions and schools that they attend. How did you feel the first time going to these schools/churches?

These make up the most comforting place I’ve ever known, and that’s just the beginning. Casey County Kentucky is where my Grandmother, Nonnie grew up. She’s taken her two daughters here their whole lives, my mom and my Aunt Sarah. This led to them taking me, my sister Lizzie, and my cousin Christopher along too. We would drive down on the weekends when we were free and summer was our favorite time to go. This place has gifted me with so many things like my faith, my love and respect for simplicity in nature, and a bond so strong with my grandmother and family that I couldn’t be more thankful for. Research questions

What makes this community different than most? What do you know about the variety of religions in Casey County and how they interact? Why do you think they have stayed the same all these years, more traditional, and not giving in and changing due to modern day life? What should I know about the Mennonite community? What should I know about the Christian community? What aspect of Casey County makes it feel like community to you?   I’m thinking my more general question could be asking: Does technology, or the lack thereof, make faith stronger or have something to do with Casey County’s constant strong faith in the many religious people there?   Would we be more faith oriented and traditional with faith here in Lexington if we didn’t let everything be done with technology?
